Alas, we all must have them, eh?
Those who do not abide by the rules will be looked down upon by the Gods in Olympus.
1. Plagiarizing (taking other people’s work and claiming it as your own) is NOT allowed. Anyone found plagiarizing or abusing someone else’s work will be dealt with strictly and severely.
2. All people are valued life. At all times, members must be respected. Any form of harm, threatening, or bashing other members is prohibited.
3. Anything related to Greek Mythology or Rick's twist on Greek Mythology should be backed by research information. The characters are not allowed to be out of character. For example, Artemis is not allowed to have children. Having a child is against her beliefs.
4. Any major modifications must be consulted with a higher power and those the modification would affect.
5. If you are given admin powers, do not go power crazy. If you go power crazy there is a possibility your powers could be removed.
6. Signature sizes can be no larger than 500 by 350 please! Some people have smaller screens and don't like scrolling around.
7. What happens in role playing should be kept to a pg-13.
8. If you get in a tiff with another member, please deal with that outside of this site or via private message. Cat fights will not be tolerated, especially at the disruption of peace for others.
9. There is absolutely NO God-moding. If you want to use another character or have a character who is not yours perform an action, then you must get permission from the character's owner.
10. Power playing is not allowed. Power playing is when your character is ultimate/ invincible/ almost invincible. All characters have flaws. All characters on this site are equal.
11. Actions have consequences. This goes with your character as well. Be careful what you post, it may come back to bite you.
12. Only one character per account unless family.
13. Only one character per person. Second character must be villain or the opposite if you have villain the first time. Please no thirds unless dire. PM Thane for request.
14. At Camp Half-Blood there are many magical creatures allowed to pass through the borders. Currently campers are only allowed non-magical creatures or a winged horse which can be kept in the stable. Any camper of the big three can have a specific creature (Hades= hellhound) but if you disagree/ think of anything else for your character, please feel free to prove us otherwise.
If you wish to have a 'special' pet, we are pretty open to almost anything. Please develop well-rounded information on your pet in the pet section.
15. If you have more than one character you can have up to two cabins to gain cabin points for. Competitions such as crossword puzzles and riddles, can only be solved once per person. You will have to choose which character to give the points to. If you do not specify we will just assume the points will go to the character that you sent the PM with.
16. Avatar images must be no larger than 120 pixels in width. We have an override code that allows elongated images, but on some computers the override takes out the width and height restrictions all together, which results in a stretched page. If your image stretches the page, it will be resized.
17. Signatures must not be large enough to stretch the screen. That gives you about 500 px in width to be safe. Please do not have signatures larger than 400 in height.
18. We do not have a word limit but we are an advanced literate site which means we can all be mature about our responses which should be at least the length of what they person responded with unless over 300 words; then it should be at least as close as you can get.
19. Second characters mean you want the responsibility of rping two characters. So we MAY be hard asses when accepting your profile.
20. Same goes with big three. We expect more out of you because you are playing a powerful character. You MUST be at least a three star role player but we would really appreciate if you were four.
21. A star rating is a self-categorization of what level role player you are. This way others know what to expect when role playing with you. If your rating is deemed incorrect, a staff has the authority to change it to a more proper label.
Have fun. Any suggestions on improvement are welcome.
