DEMIGOD
2nd Year at Camp
Age: 17
Son of Athena
Alliance: Neutral
Appearance:
Eye(s): Oceanic Blue
Hair: Dark Brown
Height: 6'3"
Build Type: Average (might have a few extra pounds...)
Brief Description: Abe is rather tall, and carries on his face a smile that can warm the coldest heart. It seems as though Abe can smile about anything, which has been proven true in his past, as he takes nothing seriously, and carries the lax smile of his mother in every situation he is put into. His eyes are curious, wild, and bright with intrigue, though they are normally shut, because Abe normally sleeps. He has long arms, long legs, and big feet. The young man's hair is always clean, but never otherwise taken care of.
Background:
Mortal Parent(s): Father, Gregory Thomas
Other Family: A little adopted brother, aged 2, named Simon Thomas
Pets: Abe has a turtle.
Brief History:
When Abe was born, like most of his
When Abe was 2, he was reading proficiently. When he was 3, he was learning proficiently. He was quick to catch on, and also quick to teach, however naively it was that he did so. Abe enjoyed learning as a child, and it was what made him happy. More than toys and friends, knowledge made the little toddler happy. Abe craved to further his mind, from as early as he could understand.
As the boy aged, he became steadily more lazy. Abe slept all the time, yawned all the time, and slacked off frequently. He rarely put forth effort on anything except school; which, when he began, he breezed through. Grade school was a joke, middle school was a joke, and his two years of high school were a joke. Abe grew more and more careless, more and more sleepy, but surprisingly, more and more intelligent. When people needed help, they went to Abe. When people had questions, they went to Abe. When people needed advice, they went to Abe. He was an ear; a good listener, and an even better helper.
However, his laziness often impeded his ability to shine. Abe has always had, since birth, the potential to shine brightly both in school and outside. When he was 16, Abe's mother was killed in a car accident. Abe, having no grudges, and having obtained worldly wisdom to immeasurable ends, accepted his mother's death, and his father told him about his heritage; about his real mother. Later that week, Abe was claimed.
Fortunately, the young man was claimed right as school was letting out, and Abe went to Camp Half-Blood. With few friends, but a bright smile, Abe entered, leaving his dead mother and his father behind, and becoming a year-rounder at the camp. There, where he now resides, he puts forth his best to help his rights, further his talents... and sleep, of course. Abe does love to sleep.

Fighting Specialty: Abe is, unfortunately, physically very weak. He cannot wield a sword properly, nor a bow, nor a spear. He is, however, very quick on his feet. He is very, very agile, and can quickly dodge, roll, evade, etc. He fights well with one dagger, but cannot do much damage with it. His primary strategy involves tiring the enemy by dodging, then striking quickly and effectively. If he does not strike, he tires the enemy, and either a) runs away, or b) has a teammate finish the enemy.
Describe the extent of your powers/abilities:
> Abe has great wisdom.
> He can strategize in any given situation. His quick-thinking is beneficial in any situation, no matter the odds.

The darkness had well enveloped the sky like a warm blanket around a cold body, and it seemed as though the air had a certain cool crisp to it to accompany this coloration of the sky. The moon was well into the air, casting a soft white glow onto the beach and onto the water, and Abe's feet carefully and quietly stepped onto the sand, making a graceful patter against the grains as he did. The wind blew in a caressing manner, and it felt wonderful against Abe's dirty skin. He had come from the forest not so long ago, but knew now, that with the time of night, surely the Harpies would have him.
Strangely enough, the thought didn't scare him. He continued his slow journey to the waterfront, and upon arrival, proceeded to take a seat just out of reach of the soft waves. They lapped at Abe's feet like dogs thirsty for more drink, and Abe embraced the feeling of the cool seawater against his feet and in between his toes. He looked toward the sky, where the moon stared down at him with an emotionless glare. His day had been a long one, full of training with his friends, and now a rest at the beach.
His gaze fell to the water. How he'd love to take a swim right now... but surely, if he did so, he would be caught. Abe figured he would be caught anyway, but decided it would be unwise to chance it any sooner than it would likely happen anyway. His heart heavy with some misconceived malcontent with the way his friends had treated him that day, Abe's eyes traced the water's line carefully. Tonight, it seemed to be his only friend. When he wanted a hug from a living thing, the water was there to comfort him... as it always had been.
Abe leaned back, fell into the sand, and quickly fell asleep.
