DEMIGOD
First Year at Camp
Age: 16
Daughter of Zeus (Thane said it was okay!)
Alliance: Rebel
Appearance:
Eye(s): Icy blue with white specks
Hair: Dark brown curly or straight hair.
Height: 5'4
Build Type: thin and semi muscular
Brief Description: Arabella is considered as fairly pretty. She has gained most of her looks from her mother, but she gained her eye color from her father, and with Arabella's tan skin, it makes her beautiful eyes pop. Since Arabella is a dancer, she has a dancers body... thin and muscular in her arms, legs, and torso. But her muscles aren't bulky, they're hardly noticeable till she's moving and straining herself. Some people might think that she wouldn't be good in a fight... when really, she can be a monster... but she mostly relies on her own self defense.
Background:
Mortal Parent(s): Cynthia Ice
Other Family: none
Pets: Can she have a Phoenix?
Brief History: Arabella and her mother lived a musical life in New York, Arabella's mother Cynthia had met Zeus at one of her concerts, Cynthia was one of the dancers who would dance for just about anyone in any type of concert... and because Cynthia was so good at dancing... it had caught Zeus's attention... enough to cause a small spark of attraction that led him to see Cynthia after the show... wooing her with his own charm, and then having a small short lived fling. And what do you know, nine months later, little Arabella was born.
Arabella had gained her mothers talent for dance, so almost as soon as she was able to walk, and talk... her mother signed her up for dance classes, starting off with ballet and tap... then going to something more extreme when Arabella progressed faster than the other girls. By the age of ten Arabella was dancing with almost every style that was available for her to learn in New York. Forget the others, Arabella was able to pick up on the dance skills like they were new words that were three letters long.
But aside from Arabella's dancing, she simply loved storms. Whenever there was a thunderstorm, she would wind up running out in the middle of it to dance in the rain, the thunder being her music and the lightning being her lights. It never mattered what time of day it was, whenever it rained you couldn't keep the child inside. It was like the thunderstorms were her favorite TV show, and there was no stopping her from watching it.
Arabella didn't go to school... she was home schooled by quite a few people... her dance instructors, her mother, and a privet tutor. Sometimes having your mom be a famous dancer had it's perks, and Arabella had plans to follow in her mothers footsteps. She was set. A fabulous dancer, a cute face, and an energetic personality.
When Arabella turned Sixteen was when strange things started to happen... she'd recently joined a local dance club, and she was walking home from the latest meeting with her bag slung over her shoulder. And when she was about a few blocks away from her house, she started to notice that two strange figures were following her... a tall man in a trench cloak that wasn't fitting for the hot summer weather, and a young boy wearing a loose beany on his head. But if that wasn't strange... the next thing that happened was. The boy had walked up to her quickly and tried to start up a little conversation, but he was breathing heavily and he kept looking over his shoulder at the man in the trench cloak. It wasn't like it was strange to see a few people following you for a while... because it was New York and most people were headed in the same direction. But that was mostly in the heavier populated parts of the state... she was walking in one of the areas that had hardly any people. So seeing the man follow her from her dance club and to just a few blocks away from her house was rather strange.
She would reply to the boys questions in short one or two worded responses... starting to get really curious about the two odd characters. Arabella wasn't stupid, and she knew about the people that tried to kidnap kids from families... they tried to get a ton of money out of it, and then get off the hook for it. There was no way that was going to be the case with Arabella.
Arabella prepared herself for a fight because she had her conclusion set. This guy was a kidnapper and she was his next target. And there was no way that she would be abducted by him. There was just simply no way. So when the guy came at her, she ducked, grabbed the other kids hand and ran. Not wanting another kid to be a victim of the abductor.
"Hurry up!"she screamed as she sprinted forwards, basically pulling the kid behind her. But before she could even pause to stop at what had happened, the guys shoes were off his feet, and he was running on in front of her...or trotting. Since he didn't necessarily have feet... more like hooves. Arabella had strained to keep up with him, and soon the kid with hooves pulled her into an alley to hide behind a dumpster. "Who the hell are you!" she yelled at him... not really expecting his answer... he'd told her that his name was Sam and that he was a satyr that was here to take her to camp half-blood. Arabella didn't know what that meant... but then she remembered that her mother had been recently walking around the house muttering about a camp for her. So Arabella decided to trust Sam.
So she let him guide her into a taxi and then they made their way to this camp on the limited money the two of them were able to pull together.

Fighting Specialty: Arabella is good at fighting with her two swords, able to either go completely on offense, or completely on defense depending on whatever position she might be stuck in.
Describe the extent of your powers/abilities: Arabella is able to control wind, she can make it bend into shapes and use it as a weapon, or just as a way to entertain herself when she's bored.
She is also able to form an electric current on the top of her skin, making it so that if someone touches her they get either a small shock, or a big one. The power is draining and the smaller the spark, the longer she can hold the power. She's also able to send electric currents through her weapons, making them more deadly than before... this is also draining, the longer she holds the current, the more energy it takes from her.
Fatal Flaw: Sometimes, her powers get to her head... she might think that she is all powerful... when really, she's just someone with a little extra power.
Please describe why you think you can stabilize a powerful character. Minimum of two well-developed paragraphs **Big Three Only**: I think that I can control one because I'm really good at not god-moding, I can make it so that her powers aren't really extreme just a little bit more powerful than someone else who isn't a child of the big three. I won't make Arabella a Mary-Sue, she'll have her weaknesses and her strengths, but she won't be able to out do anyone else from the big-three, she might even be a little less powerful than the others.
I would be able to RP with her well because there are so many expectations of a child of the big-three, and Arabella might just crack under the pressure of being thought so high of when she'd rather be a child of Apollo or something, she would never try to show off unless something called for her to use her powers to the max, which still wouldn't give her that much more of an advantage over other campers, and even when she finds herself using all of her powers... there's no telling when she'll pass out from the pressure of it all.
Please give a brief background on your minor god**Minor Gods Only**:
Theme Song: What the Hell
You say that I'm messing with your head
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
All 'cause I was making out with your friend
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Love hurts, whether it's right or wrong
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I can't stop 'cause I'm having too much fun
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
You're on your knees,
beggin' please
'stay with me'
But honestly,
I just need to be a little crazy
All my life I've been good but now,
I'm thinking 'What the hell'
All I want is to mess around,
and I don't really care about
If you love me, if you hate me,
you can't save me, baby, baby
All my life I've been good but now,
whoa 'What the hell'
What,
What,
What,
What the hell
So what if I go out on a million dates
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
You never call or listen to me anyway
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I'd rather rage than sit around and wait all day
(yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Don't get me wrong,
I just need some time to play (yeah)
You're on your knees,
beggin' please
'stay with me'
But honestly,
I just need to be a little crazy
All my life I've been good but now,
I'm thinking 'What the hell'
All I want is to mess around,
and I don't really care about
If you love me, if you hate me,
you can't save me, baby, baby
All my life I've been good but now,
whoa 'What the hell'
La la la la la la la la, whoa, whoa
La la la la la la la la, whoa, whoa
You say that I'm messing with your head
Boy, I like messing in your bed
Yeah, I am messing with your head
When I'm messing with you in bed
All my life I've been good but now,
I'm thinking what the hell (what the hell)
All I want is to mess around and I don't really care about (I don't care about)
All my life I've been good but now, I'm thinking what the hell
All I want is to mess around and I don't really care about. (if you love me)
If you love me (no), if you hate me (no)
You can't save me, baby, baby (if you love me)
All my life I've been good but now, whoa, what the hell
La la, La la la la la la, La la, La la la la la la la

Louis hung... Louis hung... under the bridge. By a rope. One long piece of rope that wrapped around him like a harness and tied up to one of the boards that held up the bridge. His goal... his goal was to scare the living crap out of who ever dared to cross the bridge. Simple goal really. His plan was to climb up the rope once he saw someone on the bridge and scare them either by thumping on the boards under their feet... or by screaming from right under their feet... either way... it was bound to freak the first few people to cross out. He simply adored his plan.
There was no telling who was going to pass... but when he saw the Slytherin standing almost right on top of him, and Louie... well Louie took his chance. He slowly climbed up his rope, being completely silent as he ended up right underneath the bored looking guy, and then... Louis slammed his foot against the boards holding the guy up, and then screamed loudly and high pitched... almost like a girl, burst out into laughter, and then let go of the rope so he was sent tumbling back down towards the water... making him heave when the end of the rope came. "Holy crap that was fun!" he gasped, the wind had been knocked out of him.
