Build Type: thin and slender
Brief Description: Lakora has always been small. She was born small she will die small. She has black hair and grey eyes as did her mother. Something her mother never had was pale skin. Lakora has fishbelly white skin. She never tans. She likes it better that way though. She has a crooked smile and a cute little stature that won over her mom and all the boys. She always has her hair straightened. Having a curl in her hair even just the slightest one drove her crazy. She has a scar on her forehead in the shape of a crescent moon. Her stepfather and hit her over the head and left a gash on her face that didnt take long to heal but took forever to explain. The cut healed but left a decent sized scar that she could never seem to make disappear even with a heavy coat of makeup. She was permanently slender from her years on the streets. her limps and abdomen were small although her hourglass figure never left when her weight died down. She called it a curse. She didnt want the attention she got from it.
Background:
Mortal Parent(s): Acaara Neona Gattino-Chaton (mother) Landon Alec Chaton (stepfather)
Other Family: Kayle Ambros Gattino (older brother)
Pets: Tiki (her female Doberman Pinscher)
Brief History: She was born Lakora Natalia Gattino but when her loser abusive stepfather moved in he demanded that Lakora have his last name. Kayle was old enough to decide by then if he wanted it or not and he chose he'd rather not. She was always an outsider in school until high school. When she got into chorus and all the chorus girls (and the occasional boy or two) adored her voice. She had a gift they told her that would get her a professional stage job. She had the attention of anyone she wanted. She was beautiful and had a gorgeous voice and all she had to do was sing a few lyrics and she had everyone's attention. Of course, no one knew that she went home to hell on earth. Mommy was gone. Daddy dearest had had her "sent to a better place" and Kora was next....until she ran away. She took Tiki, her beloved Dobi, with her. She lived on the streets for two years just wandering from town to town. With the protection of Tiki and her excellent survival skills it wasnt a wonder how she lived. She met plenty of people but none were important enough to remember until she met Kane. Her first and only love. She met him in the park and it was all downhill from there. Not only did he love her he loved her for her personality, he noticed the scar on her cheek where Daddy had hit her too hard and he promised never to ever do that to her. He was the only man she had trusted this way. She loved him. One day he left her side to get food and he didnt return. She felt a piece of her die with him when she found him three days later with a bullet hole in his chest slowly bleeding to death. Of course she had rushed to his side but he died in her arms after telling her he loved her. She mourned for months but knew she would never bring him back so she tried to move on. When she finally was brought to Camp Half Blood she was quiet at first. Afraid for the first time to be herself. At least now she felt normal. She never found life until she came to Camp Half Blood.
Personality:
Kora is outgoing. She wants to make friends and will do a lot to get them. She will always be her random, funny self though. She will never be someone she isnt.

She walks down the road trying to find the ocean line in the fading sunlight. She sighed. She couldn't recall the last time she had been at the water's edge. She smiled when she saw it. She saw the colors bouncing off the mirrored surface and she then realized it was getting dark. She didnt know when it had gotten so dark. She had been so focused on the aqua that she hadnt noticed that the pastel hued horizon had gone to a dark blue. She walks into the sand and takes off her flip flops. She felt the grains squish between her toes and she grinned at the fact she could be here. She looked down and giggled as the cool water lapped at her feet. She placed a hand in the water as she crouched down to meet it. She wasn't aware of anyone else but herself while she was here. She didn't really care if anyone else was there. Let them look at the girl playing in the water.
She decided to go for a stroll down the waterside letting the water touch her feet and ankles. She didn’t care for her flip flops she’d need new ones soon anyway… She tried to find her hiding place in the dark. It wasn’t hard to find for her since she had been there so often but to the newcomer almost impossible. It was low tide as she crawled into her hiding place, a low rock formation that had left an empty cove, her favorite place to be in low tide. She watched the last of the sun set and just listened to the waves lapping. Her shorts and tank top were untouched by the water. She closed her eyes. she couldn’t remember the last time she was this relaxed. splash.....splash.....splash she opened her eyes again to see rocks being thrown in the water..who was throwing rocks so close to her hiding place?
