LAMIA
#1st Year at Camp
Age: 16
Daughter of Rastus the Inccubus
Alliance: Neutral
Appearance:
Eye(s): Sapphire
Hair: Crimson
Height: 5'3"
Build Type: Petite
Brief Description: Amaie is a slip of a girl with long legs, perfect pale skin, and cascading crimson hair which goes down past her waist.
Lamia form: While amaie's head and torso stay exactly the same as they were in her normal form, Amaie's long legs meld together in this form, and elongate to be fifteen feet long. They become like that of a serpent, and gain the coloring and pattern of a Red Coffee Snake. The base color like the bright crimson of her hair. Her 'underbelly' is slightly less so, like that of young strawberries. Her marking are vertical lines of deepest black, with the tip of her tail being the same black for the last foot.
Background:
Mortal Parent(s): Teofilia (Lamia)
Other Family: None
Pets: None
Brief History: Amaie's father raised her alone, as he stole her from her mother "For services Rendered" as part of some demon bargain. He started training her at a yoing age, breaking her emotions. He taught her how to draw from other people's emotions and forcing her to do it to the point where it was near impossible to feel without draining an emotion from someone first. She had to learn on her own that she doesn't have to feel every emotion she gathers, unless the situation is right. He also trained her in the more martial arts such as grappling, hand to hand combat, swordplay and archery.
All the training was to come to a crescendo of her becoming his scion, and a complement to his own killing of females, until he found out that she had the same tastes in passion as he did. Amaie won her freedom from him soon after, making her way to a place where she would feel more accepted and at ease, camp half-blood.
Personality:
Amaie's emotions and personality was broken by her father. Unless Amaie draws from a large group, she is a completely dispassionate person. She does not laugh, cry, or anything in between, unless she has drawn that emotion from someone else that day. Amaie isn't able to trust, respect, or even like anyone on her own, so it is quite hard for her to think of someone as a friend. The best she can hope for is a working relationship from a day to day basis with those that are around her.

Describe the extent of your powers/abilities:
Emotional Vampirism: Amaie can draw specific parts of people's aura to her to increase her energy. The parts of the aura that she is able to take are those of a person's current emotions. When she takes those parts, it soothes such an emotion to nearly nothing, but that particular emotion can come back with time. There is only one emotion that Amaie is unable to draw from, and that, of curse, is Love.
Amaie tends to stick with the more sour and bitter negative emotions, due to her father's training. Amaie will only suck the sweet joy out of someone's very existence if they really get on her bad side. She has yet to force someone to commit suicide, though her father has implied in the past that it would be very possible.
Demonic Heritage: Though Amaie looks like a young girl, her aging has just started to slow. She is not immortal, but she will live a greatly expanded lifetime, and she has gained the physical attributes of her father's line. She has become somewhat faster and stronger than humanly possible
Imperfect Lamia Shift: Amaie can change her shape at will to that of a Lamia, gaining great physical speed, strength, and dexterity. This form also comes with the things that a variety of natural Snakes can do, such as constrict their prey with her coils, climb, and hang from branches and the like. The shift comes at a price though, which is stated below. *Accidental shifts can occur if she feels a strong emotion toward something, or is injured.*
Fatal Flaw: Amaie must constantly drain other people's lesser emotions, at least five times daily. Amaie must either draw from someone's strong emotions to power her shift, or if it is accidental, she must drain someone's strong emotion to return to her original form. Some of the strong emotions are:
Negative: Lust, Greed, Sloth/Despair, Wrath/Anger, Envy, Pride, Sorrow, Fear, Hate, Exhilaration .
Positive: Joy, Hope, Awe, Courage, Trust, Passion, Respect,
Theme Song: 'Bring me to life' Evanescence
Lyrics
How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb
Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back home
Wake me up
(Wake me up inside)
I can't wake up
(Wake me up inside)
Save me
(Call my name and save me from the dark)
Wake me up
(Bid my blood to run)
I can't wake up
(Before I come undone)
Save me
(Save me from the nothing I've become)
Now that I know what I'm without
You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life
Wake me up
(Wake me up inside)
I can't wake up
(Wake me up inside)
Save me
(Call my name and save me from the dark)
Wake me up
(Bid my blood to run)
I can't wake up
(Before I come undone)
Save me
(Save me from the nothing I've become)

I've been living a lie
There's nothing inside
Bring me to life
Frozen inside without your touch
Without your love, darling
Only you are the life among the dead
All this time, I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without thought, without voice, without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more
Bring me to life
Wake me up
(Wake me up inside)
I can't wake up
(Wake me up inside)
Save me
(Call my name and save me from the dark)
Wake me up
(Bid my blood to run)
I can't wake up
(Before I come undone)
Save me
(Save me from the nothing I've become)
I've been living a lie
There's nothing inside
Bring me to life

Amaie lounged upon the dock, her feet stirring the placid water beneath her. The sun was quite nice, soaking deep into her pale body, enjoying the feel of it. Her black bikini didn't cover much, but being broken as she was, embarrassment just didn't concern her. She was only able to enjoy the sun because she had drained just the slightest bit of enjoyment from everyone at lunch, dulling the entire experience just a smidgen. She didn't feel sorry in the slightest though, since she hadn't drawn any sorrow that day.
Content, that was the best she could do on her own, but she felt it now, as she stretched, then laid back. Amaie looked up at the fluffy clouds skittering through the sky above her and wondered if she could ever be fixed. She was not sure if she wanted to though, because of her horrid past with her father. If she were ever fixed, all the pain and suffering of sixteen years would come crashing into her at once. She was pretty sure that if that happened she would probably go insane with it.
Not one to dwell on the past, she dispelled the thoughts from her mind and kicked her foot, so that the water made a decent rainbow that arced from her foot out into the lake. Rainbows, they were pretty. At this time, she didn't particularly like them. She could remember one time she had, just after draining a young child that had been gazing at one. Amaie sighed and let her foot dangle in the lake, to be nibbled on by passing minnows, so she could have at least a physical feeling if not an emotional one.
