JOURNAL INTRODUCTION:
Greetings Reader! This journal is compiled with letters for my amazing brother, Flynn. Oh, and Flynn, if you are reading this, I assume that you are grown up now and I hope to see you soon. Remember, your sister loves you very much.

Dear Flynn, Hey Flynn, this is your sister, Arceus. I know that you're only eight years old and I doubt that you can read some of the words here, but life must go on and one day you can be able to read words that you never heard of before, and by the time you have this, that means I left this asylum -- I mean camp for special people such as myself. It's very hard to explain, but you'll understand when you grow up. Okay, so I decided to write you a letter everytime I encounter new faces, new problems, new conflicts, new creatures and new skills. I currently have a new problem: I'm a daughter of an Ancient Greek goddess of wisdom and war named "Athena". Well, that explains why your sister is such a brainiac. But wait, you might wonder why is Athena my mother, when I have one right now? Well, I shall tell you the truth. The truth is, your mother isn't my real mother. Our dad re-married when he was in Korea, and that's where he met your mother. I hope you understand. But sometimes, I wonder why you didn't inherit anything from your mother.
Why is this a problem to me? Well, ever since I found out I was a demigod (half mortal, half god), my life is in danger because monsters and creatures want to get rid of me. So, I'm not quite sure about this, but maybe by the time you may be reading this, I might be already facing Hades, the god of the underworld. But let's hope not, okay? So, I went through bushes and trees in the forest, and ended up at this camp. I first walked straight to the cabins to settle in. The cabin was empty, because almost all of my half brothers and half sisters were sword-fighting. I felt so alone in the cabin, until a girl named Briar came in. She was the daughter of Apollo, god of music and healing. Then, came in another camper, Aalekh, who was the son of Zeus, the god of Olympus. They talked to me about what goes on at camp. It seemed scary at first (you might lose an eye while doing chores!), but then you might feel the sudden urge to pick up a sword and fight.
Luckily, this cabin leader, named Lorelei Asphodel, came along and knew about my arrival. I sort of changed my mind about camp; there are many hospitable people around here! She was carrying a box of cupcakes, which were delicious! I would've saved some for you, but they wouldn't taste as good when you receive them. [/font]

Dear Flynn,
Hey Flynn! This is, so far, the second entry of your letter journal. Hooray! I haven't been on much adventures because I don't really get the chance to go, and besides I don't have a weapon (wait, I have my butterfly knife/balisong, right?) - scratch that. I mean, I don't have an actual weapon yet, and by "actual", I mean something that can kill a hundred-pound monster, or at least turn them to dust and disintegrate, then come back to life. Yes, that's the monster's life cycle. You're learning a lot from me already!
Okay, on to the actual topic now. The reason why I'm writing an entry for you today is because I wanted to tell you that I've made new friends, and guess what. They invited me to a slumber party at the Hephaestus cabin. It's going to be a great night, as long as there aren't any guys in there - I'm just being honest and reasonable. Well, since this is my first slumber party here at camp, I feel like I have to be armed and ready, so I brought along this journal to keep me company if I get bored, along with my butterfly knife.
Oh, and by the way, cellphones aren't allowed here in camp. I used a digital camera to take a picture of myself. I know how much you hate hair streaks, but what the heck! I'm still going to mess with you no matter what [/blockquote]
