Brief Description: Katniss has brown eyes, which she describes as "big brown ones". She has curly light brown-black hair, that she sometimes plays with. She loves to wear fancy clothes and hates it whenever some demigods and such think she's Aphrodite's. She's 5'" tall and skinny, which she got from her father. She loves to read and sometimes be caught reading outdoors.

Brief History:
Katniss was born in Seattle. As a child, Katniss had the ability to read in many ways. Every night, before going to sleep, Katniss would ask her father who her mother was, and she always got no response. She grew up being really competitive and everyday from school, would ask her father as many questions as she can. Her father would answer, and he knew that Katniss was "hers".

At the age of 10, her father had married a woman, who was pretty much like Katniss, except for her looks. Katniss would call her by her name, but as years passed by, she got used to saying 'Mom', even though she knew she wasn't really her 'Mom'. At this age, Katniss' ADHD and dyslexia got bad. Sometimes, she wouldn't read properly, she either turns the book upside down or read a different book; in another language. Her step-mother would worry, but she was also furious for Katniss usually destroys every thing. At class, she would play with pens and books, using them as swords and shields. She would sometimes get any answer right, even though she hadn't read the question. She would play around her desk and move around a lot. Katniss didn't know why, but everything she reads was wrong... and this turned worse when she turned 12.

Katniss was at an empty classroom; cleaning. As she turned around to get the broom when she saw one of the girls, who she had constantly a fight with, standing in front of the room. Katniss shook her head and turned around. But as she looked back, the girl was different. She had red eyes, fangs and her legs were different. One leg looked like a donkey's, the other looked like golden-bronze like. Katniss backed away as she came towards her. As Katniss was about to hit her with the broom, the girl lunged at her and Katniss crouched down and ran in front of the room. She desperately looked around and pushed the teacher's desk as the girl lunged at her again. Katniss was confused. But she ran back to the book shelves and started throwing books at her. As Katniss throwed a book, the girl reminded her of a creature. She thought hard until she figured out it was an Empousa. A book hit the empousa's head and backed away.

Katniss had no other options, she instantly charged at the empousa and used the broom to stab her. Too late, the empousa burst to flames and as soon as she tried to stop it, a teacher came in and was shocked at what she saw. The teacher obviously thought she was doing something wrong. She obviously had no idea what was happening, but as she got home she told both her parents what had happened.

Her step-mother had no idea what was going on. She was as confused as Katniss, but her father explained everything as soon as she got to bed. She had been studying everything and she can obviously read Greek. But, how in the world was she; the Goddess of Wisdom and strategy, be her mother? She read as many books as she can about Greek Mythology and finally understood what it is. When she found out about Camp Half-Blood, Katniss was desperate to go. Her father had no choice since, the week after the Empousa attack, a hell hound had attacked their home and Katniss had to go somewhere safe.

Katniss was confident about anything, but for once, she felt nervous. Camp Half-Blood sounded like a place where people are more expert at battle and strategy. She hoped that she can fit in. But obviously, she had learned that Camp was under-attack and, as a Daughter of the great goddess; Athena, she wanted to help.

Likes:

• Reading. Greek, of course.
  
• Practicing her battling skills. She knows that she's as good as anyone, since the Empousa and hell hound attack.
  
• Fancy everything. Her clothes, her books, her cabin, her everything.

Describe the extent of your powers/abilities:
The ability to make a problem much easier, due to her highly intelligence and wisdom. She helps or makes something much easier, example; while playing capture the flag, she tells someone to get behind or in front of Zeus' fist to make sure no one gets the flag behind, too. She arranges everyone to proper places/positions to make the capture of the flag much easier. But sometimes, she gets stuck in something and gets frustrated that she doesn't do anything for it. She complains that it's 'too hard' but tries and tries until she gets it.

Fatal Flaw:
Hubris. Or also known as 'Deadly Pride'. She thinks she can do anything much better than what's already done. She thinks she can make this world a better place, to create much more wonderful buildings and monuments, museums. It's dangerous for her, or to anyone else.

Role Playing Sample:

Katniss fixed her hair properly and went outside. She sat at the back of the car while her father was driving from Seattle to New York. As they passed by Manhattan, Katniss pulled out her book from her bag. It looked like it was already past midnight when they got to New York. As Katniss got out of the car, his father suspiciously checked the road before leading Katniss to the direction of the camp. As Katniss was adjusting her bag, she looked at the writing on the archway. Katniss raised her eyebrows... she struggled to read it because it very much likely looks like: PCMA LAHF-ODOLB. Katniss didn't turn away, but she asked her father quietly. Katniss turned around just as when she saw a hell hound. Katniss yelled to her father to run, but it was no use, her father stared at it; shocked, and he didn't seem to hear her. Katniss desperately looked around. She had nothing, then she remembered. She grabbed her father's arm and ran back to the car.

Katniss had no idea what she was looking for, but she searched the whole care until she found a silver dagger shining just underneath the back seat. She grabbed it and ran back to the hell hound, his father yelling at her to come back. Katniss made her move, but too late, it ran to Katniss and just as it was about to eat her head off, Katniss grabbed it's ear and went up to it's back. The hell hound went crazy and shook it's head to try and fall her off. Katniss held tight and when the monster finally decided she was gone, it went towards the car where Katniss' father was. Katniss fell down and went straight to the tail. She held tight and stabbed the hell hound's back as hard as she could, but missed. She went up until she was on the same spot as before and fell, again. The hell hound had it's shot. It's stepped on the car and Katniss yelled. She ran to her father and tried to bring him out before the hell hound had a time to eat them both. Katniss pulled her father to the road and went underneath the hell hound and stabbed one of it's paw. Katniss had time to roll to one side as the monster erupted into dust. Katniss coughed and went to help his father, walking calmly as if nothing happened.
