Brief Description: Mia’s of an average weight and height. She’s got sharp features that couldn’t help but freak you out a wee bit, and large magnetic and yet cat-like eyes that look murderous. Like her goddess though, she’s eternally beautiful, with soft and flawless skin, small hips and a high forehead. However, since she’s been suspended for ten years, she doesn’t wear the clothes the normal Huntresses do.

Brief History:
Hermes met Joanna Beckett in the year…well, way back in the 1800’s. She was, of course, from a hoity-toity aristocratic family in England, and there wasn’t a spark as such between them. The God and the spoilt beauty were needy, and there wasn’t really a reason why they did it. So, nine months later, Mia was born. The Becketts tried to hide the fact that Mia was…a ‘flower girl’, to put it nicely, and they succeeded. Mia Beckett was raised like every snooty child was- wearing the most impeccable dresses, eating the best foods, riding the most expensive horses…yada yada.

Even as a kid, Mia was an Ice Queen. She hardly interacted with her family, and always stayed cooped up in her room, doing something or the other. She hated men back then, finding them too fake and phony for her liking. She had ADHD and dyslexia too, but her family didn’t care about that. She just needed to raise a family when she grew up. Mia was infuriated by their ideologies, and that made her disposition even colder towards her family. Once she turned thirteen, she started to show the normal Hermes traits – the wily movements, the stealth, the interpretation…and it wasn’t long before monsters started chasing her. So she ran away.

She had some close calls with monsters over the years. When she was fifteen however, she wasn’t so lucky. She was eating a bun she’d stolen, when she heard heavy footsteps and a gruff roar behind her. She shrieked, and dropped the bun. The Cyclops started chasing her, and she ran, tears streaming from her eyes. He finally caught her, but suddenly, arrows whizzed from nowhere. She yelped when she saw a pack of wolves emerge from a gully, guarding her from the Cyclops. The Cyclops was killed, and the Huntresses came out from their hiding place. Artemis was there, of course, and after the orientation, Mia was officially a Huntress. Her father visited her soon later, but Mia could have only merciless comments for him.

Mia was never one to get along with the fellow Huntresses due to her ruthless personality. However, she was probably the best Huntress, and Artemis didn’t want to let go off her. However, when Mia got out of hand, the goddess decided to suspend her for a period of 10 years. Mia was against it, but she loved her Goddess. So, here she is now, at Camp Half-Blood, waiting for her tenure to get over.


Personality:

Mia isn’t a person you’d want to run into. She doesn’t talk much, and would disagree with you just to see you squirm. She’s cold and merciless, and loves getting others into trouble. She doesn’t resort to physical violence much, but her words are enough to slice through you like a blade. She’s cunning and malevolent, and would do anything to get what she wants. She’s anti-social, and doesn’t interact much with anyone.

Her good qualities would probably be her determination and passion. Of course, she doesn’t mind resorting to evil means to get what she wants, but she’ll get it, alright. She hates hypocrites and happy-go-lucky people. As a friend, she wouldn’t talk much, but if you’ve taken the time to get to know her, she’ll be nice to you. However, get on her bad side…you wouldn’t want that to happen now, would you?

Fighting Specialty: Being a Huntress of Artemis, she’s exceptionally good with her bow and arrow.

Describe the extent of your powers/abilities: Being a daughter of Hermes, she’s good at stealing, although she’s not good enough as her other siblings [or would that be ex-siblings?]. Due to her obsession with immortality, she fears getting killed, which can be a hindrance for her while fighting.

Fatal Flaw:She’s merciless and grudging.
