DEMIGOD
#6th Year at Camp
Age: 18
Daughter of Ares
Appearance:
Eye(s): green grey
Hair: black, waist length
Height: five foot even
Build Type: short and thin, with whipcord muscles
Brief Description:
Heaven is extremely small, but don't let her height fool you. She often uses her height to her advantage. She is also in possession of toned muscles; hard won through exhausting hours at her uncle's dojo in her home town and hours of work in the arena at camp.
Her hair is thin and no matter the amount of hair spray, it refuses to do anything others then lay flat, falling down around her waist. Her hair isn't the same blue black as her mothers, or a pretty auburn like her half sister's, but a coal black, like her grandmother's.
Her eyes are one of her favorite features. They always seem to shift. One second they could look purely grey and the next all you would see would be green. While she does not like most make up, she does love outrageous eye make up, if she's in the mood to put it on.
She has snake bites, a corset piercing, three holes in each ear, an industrial in her right, and a pair of wings tattooed on her shoulders.
Background:
Mortal Parent(s): Dymphna Wise/ 39/ mother/ ex boxer/ owns a tattoo parlor called Back In Black
Other Family: Catherine Wise/ 6/ younger half sister
Lynn Wise/ 63/ grandmother/ owns a horse ranch
Otto Wise/ 35/ uncle/ owns a karate and judo dojo
Pets: Sher Khan/ 8/ large black winged stallion
Brief History:
Dymphna Wise was 21 when she met Ares, God of War and father to her eldest daughter. The affair was quick, and while Dymphna was enamored by the god, just three nights of bliss before he left, leaving a young boxer pregnant with his child.
Growing up was difficult for Heaven. When she lost her temper, which happened often, she had the tendency to break things. Because of this she was left with few friends. She would often play with snakes and toads which alienated her even more.
She was drawn to music at a young age and was quickly hooked. Her mother didn't discourage her singing, but she didn't encourage it either. When she was eight her mother enrolled her in karate in hopes of 'toughening up' her only child.
Men came and went through the Wise home. It seemed that her mother had a new boyfriend every few weeks. Just as soon as she would begin to like one, he would be gone and a new one would be in his place.
School was difficult for her and by the second grade she was diagnosed with ADHA and dyslexia, a deadly combination for her grades. She struggled all through elementary, middle school, and high school.
Because of her mother's job she was quickly introduced into the world of body modification and by the age of 16 she had racked up a few of her own. She got her lip pierced, a corset done with dermal anchors up her back, and her ears three time each with an industrial in her right ear.
The year she turned 12 was a big year for Queenie, not only did she acquire a baby sister (who she didn't want) but she also encountered her first monster. It was a miracle she survived the fist attack of the Hell Hound. If it hadn't have been for Alia, the satyr sent to watch her, she would have died. She has been attending Camp Half-Blood, year round, ever since.
Personality:
LOUD Heaven can't help being loud, she wasn't born with an 'inside voice'. It often helps, being the second oldest child out of five.
RANDOM Although Heaven hates stupid questions, she does understand the difference between stupid questions and random questions. Being a very random person herself she enjoys these.
MUSICALLY INCLINED Heaven loves music with a passion. While she is learning to play guitar (she's not very good yet) she does have a wonderful singing voice and often breaks out in song at odd times.
MORBID Heaven is morbid. If you looked up the word in a dictionary you would see her picture net to the definition. She can't help herself.
DOMINATRIX It's her way or the highway with Heaven. She hates to be corrected and she is always right, even when she's wrong. Some people find this trait endearing, other find it abrasive, but she doesn't care. She'll break out the whips to make her point.
INDEPENDENT When most children wanted their mothers or fathers Heaven was content to play on her own. She doesn't need anyone to take care of her (though she secretly wishes someone will).
ANTISOCIAL SOCIALITE Heaven doesn't like people, they annoy her to no end. The strange thing is, when she puts forth even the smallest amount of effort people flock to her. She's a great people person, when she wants to be that is.
BRAVE Some people think Heaven is fearless. They would be dead wrong. Life in general scares her, but she doesn't let that effect her. She pushes through the fear and does what she has to do.
RUDE Heaven is very rude, even when she isn't trying to be. She just seems to rub people the wrong way when she isn't watching what she says.
LAZY When it comes to things like school work, Heaven is very lazy. She puts things off to the last second before she dashes to do them.
DISTRUSTFUL By nature, Heaven is a very distrustful person. It doesn't help that she's often been let down by her mother..
STRANGE Most people see Heaven as strange, when the truth is she just has a very different personality

Role Playing Sample:
Winter was a time of snow, which Mystery detested, but, it was also a time for ice skating, which she enjoyed. Some people thought it was odd that she enjoyed one part of winter, but not the other. Well, Mystery Pandora Strix was just weird like that then.
She'd been up in her dorm room, glaring moodily at the snowflakes, plotting their emanate doom, when she realized that if there was snow then there was a good possibility that the lake would be frozen! Oh joy! Ice skating!
As soon as the thought entered her head she dashed to her closet, flinging articles of clothing around the room. Quicker than a snake can shed its skin, she had slipped into a pair of jeans and a warm black sweat shirt with an acid green skull bleeding all down the front. She slammed her feet into a pair of doc martens and dashed out the door, hair, a pair of skates, and maniacal laughter streaming behind her.
A few students who weren't used to Mystery's oddities (mainly freshman) started open mouthed at her as she cackled her way down and out of the building, breathing hard as she picked up her speed.
Bah, who cared what they thought? There was ice skating to be done! At this point in time she could have grown an extra head an she wouldn't have cared, just so long as she could skate. Okay, she might have freaked out just a teeny bit about the extra head but she would have gotten over it... most likely...
She skidded to a stop at the edge of the lake and promptly fell flat on her face. She quickly sprung up, looking around wide eyed, "I'm okay!" she proclaimed to the empty area.
She flopped down, grumbling to herself, and pulled her Doc Martens off. She would have worn the skates, but it was difficult to run down the halls in pair of skates... Not that she would know from experience or anything... What? Se wouldn't...
She fumbled with the laces for a moment before she finally got the skates tied on properly. She took a few wobbly steps toward the lake before she set foot on the ice. Once the blade touched the ice though, she was as graceful as a seal! Well, a seal in the water maybe. Seals were pretty ungainly on land. Would one consider snakes graceful? What about a spider? Okay, she was as graceful as a raven in flight. There! that sounded graceful!
She laughed once before she picked up her speed and began to make patterns. She wrote her name on the ice, wrote some curses and insults and had a fun time in general. Once, she had scared off a rabbit by flinging ice shards at it when she skidded to a stop next to it. Sh hadn't mean to scare it off, but oh well. She was enjoying herself and that was all that mattered. Right?
